Label example

Labels are those portions of the package system designed to communicate important product information to the customer. The function of this package component is sometimes information related to a brand image, sometimes it is important safety information, sometimes it is required by government regulating agencies, and almost always it is important and should not be scuffed, marred, or otherwise illegible or unappealing. Label degradation can occur from vibration induced scuffing during transportation, product exposure through faulty seals, exposure to ultraviolet light, or a wide variety of other hazards. Label integrity can be guaranteed by adequate testing designed to reproduce these hazards in a concentrated format within the laboratory prior to product shipment. Westpak personnel are well-equipped and trained to conduct a wide variety of label degradation testing the end result of which should help guarantee successful labeling functions.
